Come step into the hope of being Fully Alive!
This Easter, we will gather to celebrate the hope, renewal, and world-changing victory of Jesus Christ.
We will gather to hear the story of Easter and learn that the resurrection isn’t just an event to remember, but a reality that brings new life to us today. When Jesus walked out of the tomb, He made a way for us to experience forgiveness, freedom, purpose, and a future filled with His resurrecting power.
Join us on April 5 at Church on the Hill to celebrate the resurrection. Choose from three services, one at 8:30 am and two at 10:00 am.
• 8:30 AM – Traditional Service in the Chapel
• 10:00 AM – Traditional Service in the Chapel
•10:00 AM – Contemporary Service in the Worship Center
Each service is filled with the spirit of hope, renewal, and the joy of Christ’s victory over death.
We want to make sure you feel welcome when you come here. Here’s what you can expect when you visit Church on the Hill:
We will have three services on Easter Sunday. Each service lasts between 60-65 minutes and is a celebration of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ!
8:30 & 10:00am Traditional Services | Both taking place in the Chapel complex, located on the east side of the main building, these services are a time-honored tradition and cornerstone of our worship identity that's rooted in the rhythms of the Christian calendar. They have a more liturgical and traditional feel with hymns led from the piano, organ and orchestral instrumentation. Clergy will wear traditional vestments, and responsive readings will occur.
10:00 am Contemporary Service | Held in the Worship Center, this energetic and engaging service offers a more modern style of music and features a full band. The atmosphere is dynamic and welcoming – designed for those who connect with God through expressive worship, powerful Bible teaching, and an immersive experience.
In both venues, we celebrate Holy Communion (aka: the Eucharist, The Lord’s Supper, etc.) weekly. We believe this element serves to anchor our service to the Salvation event on the Cross thus, allowing the focus of our worship to be on Christ and not a speaker, singer, and band. Everyone is invited to participate in the Table of the Lord. We follow the Christian Calendar (aka: the liturgical year) as we believe this helps to remind us that we are part of a larger story (aka: the Church universal); while also emphasizing the fullest scope of the birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We use the word teaching rather than preaching, even though we can preach. Our teaching consists of a team of men and women on staff and strives to be simple, practical, and relevant to our daily lives. We teach in a series of themes that last 4-6 weeks, and anchor everything we do in the Scripture. Our teaching team creates identical messaging for all services, so there is alignment each week regardless of which service you attend.
At all service times (8:30am & 10:00am), babies and preschoolers will have environments in which they can worship with friends their age and learn about God's love for them. During the 10:00am services, elementary students will also be provided an opportunity to have a blast worshiping with their friends and learning about God’s love for them in irresistible environments all located within the main worship building.
Middle and High School students will be encouraged to participate in worship with their families during all services on Easter Sunday.
We encourage you to wear what you want. You'll find a variety of wardrobe styles from jeans and t-shirts, suits and dresses, ties and sport coats, or shorts and flip flops. We think God is more concerned with how we dress our soul and not our body, so come as you are. We're just glad to see you!
We encourage everyone to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the service to check your children into the children’s areas, grab a cup of coffee, and find a seat. On Easter Sunday, we expect increased attendance so arriving a little early will be very helpful.
As you pull onto campus look for signs that say, “Guest Parking.” Follow those and they will lead you to special guest parking, which is located adjacent to the fountain area near the main entrance.
